Five Farms Egg Nog

Ingredients

MAKES ABOUT 4 SERVINGS

  • 1 cup | Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 2 cups | Whole Milk
  • 1 cup | Heavy Cream
  • 4 large | Egg Yolks
  • 1/3 cup | Sugar
  • 1 tsp. | Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp. | Ground Nutmeg (plus more for garnish)

How to Make

  1. Whisk eggs and sugar together in a medium bowl until thick and pale.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and cream over medium heat until just hot (don’t boil).
  3. Slowly temper the egg mixture by whisking in a little of the hot milk, then combine it all and return to the pan.
  4. Stir gently over low heat until it thickens slightly and coats the back of a spoon (about 5–7 minutes).
  5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, nutmeg, and Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur.
  6. Chill before serving, then pour into glasses and top with a dusting of nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
